Why should I join the Program?

The Veteran Wellbeing Voucher Program enables veterans to receive $100 voucher each financial year to assist with the cost of registration fees or membership of eligible Tasmanian gyms or sporting clubs. The Program is free to join.

To be eligible for the Veteran Wellbeing Voucher Program a person will be

  • a veteran (a veteran is a person who is a former member of the ADF, including a reservist)
  • have a card either issued by the Commonwealth Department of Veterans’ Affair (DVA) (either gold, white or general) or a card or identification number issued by the Commonwealth Department of Defence (DoD)
  • be living in Tasmania
  • be participating in an eligible gym or sporting club that requires the payment of an annual fee or charge to participate.

Eligible veterans may apply for a voucher worth up to $100. Once eligibility is confirmed, the applicant will receive a voucher code which they will provide to the eligible gym or sporting club when they pay their membership or registration fees. A new voucher is required each year and the Program is run on a financial year basis. The last date to claim a voucher is by 5pm on 17 June 2024.

Participation is limited to those sporting clubs and gyms who have registered and been listed as approved Veteran Activity Providers.
